Horn of Africa Community Empowerment Organization

HACE is a local non-governmental, non-political, non-profit-making and voluntary organization founded to promote good governance, development of democracy and decentralization through communities/civil society’s empowerment. Constitution for HACE-LNGO  However, HACE believes that empowering the grass-roots communities by organizing and mobilizing them actively involve and influencing in policies and decision-making processes that affecting their developmental interests will promote good governance in their territories. And the good governance in which all segments of the communities participate and involve actively in the decision-making process for their development is the base for achieving sustainable development.

HACE Organization recently distributed family food packages to internally displaced people in Hargeisa, offering much-needed relief to families facing severe hardships. The initiative aimed to support those who have been displaced due to ongoing conflict and instability in the region. These food packages, carefully prepared with essential staples, provided temporary relief to the vulnerable population, helping to alleviate their immediate hunger needs. HACE’s efforts are part of a broader commitment to assist communities affected by displacement, ensuring that they have access to food, shelter, and basic necessities. The distribution was carried out in collaboration with local authorities and volunteers, demonstrating the collective effort to address the needs of the most marginalized groups in society.
